Three Things: Maroon & White game visitors, in-state prospects & more
As he does every Friday morning, TexAgs' senior recruiting analyst Jason Howell offered up another round of his weekly recruiting thoughts. In this edition of his Three Things, Howell discussed this weekend's visitors for Texas A&M's Maroon & White game.
Thursday morning recruiting notes
Texas A&M continues to host top prospects this spring and today is no different with two Texas prospects already holding Texas A&M offers planning to visit campus. One is Willis (TX) standout ATH Jermaine Bishop who is currently ranked No. 1 in the TexAgs Texas Top 100. He told TexAgs a few weeks ago he planned to visit and today appears to be the day. He also said he wanted to try and figure out an OV date. He currently has OVs scheduled for USC (June 6), Houston (June 13), and Texas (June 20)Another is Kaufman (TX) WR Aljour Miles, who received his offer in early March and immediately began taking a long look at the Aggies. This will be his first visit since receiving the offer. The 6-3, 200-pound standout brings a unique blend of size and athleticism to the receiver position, and he recently clocked a 4.46 forty. 4.46 Laser 40yd dash on the track! pic.twitter.com/sffdpVsjnW— Aljour Miles II (@AljourMilesII) April 7, 2025
In addition to today's visitors, this weekend's visitor list is taking shape. We have previously reported Aledo (TX) 2026 WR Kaydon Finley, along with 2027 standouts Kaeden Scott, Alexander Herrera, and Montre Jackson. 2027 DL Jalen Brewster is also a possibility for this weekend, and several more standouts have taken to social media. Waco Midway 2027 RB Lathan WhisentonI will be at @AggieFootball on 4-12-25. The Aggies are also set to host Chatsworth (CA) Sierra Canyon 2026 DL Richard Wesley this Friday. At 6-5, 250, he reclassified from the 2027 class to the 2026 class and is regarded as one of the nation's top prospects. He visited in January for Texas A&M's Junior Day and we have heard from a few top sources the Aggies made a very strong impression. There have been some reports of Duncanville's KJ Ford making his way to campus this weekend. He tells us he actually plans to be in town next weekend. He didn't have the actual date but a Friday and/or Saturday visit is a pretty good bet. As usual you can expect a list of weekend visitors to be posted soon
